Leonard C. Lewin, author of Report From Iron Mountain, is a humorist and editor ["A Treasury of American Political Humor"]. He is now retired and living in the northeast.

In his 1972 "confession" of authorship of the Report, Lewin said his intention was "to caricature the bankruptcy of the think-tank mentality by pursuing its style of scientistic thinking to its logical ends."
